Web Services will be hosting a few workshops on Moodle, directed at faculty new to Kalamazoo College and/or new to Moodle. No sign-up is needed; any interested instructors are encouraged to attend. The workshops are as follows:

Introduction to Moodle

This presentation will introduce you to classroom use of our Learning Management System (LMS), Moodle. The introductory lecture focuses on basic concepts of online course management and editing, and is intended for faculty new to Kalamazoo College or new to Moodle.

Grading in Moodle

This presentation will provide introductory concepts on Moodle’s online gradebook. Topics include grade marking, editing, and weighting, as well as an overview of alternative grading methods (like rubric & marking guide). This lecture is intended for faculty who are at least somewhat familiar with our Moodle system (attendance to the Introduction lecture is sufficient).
