This summer we upgraded from Moodle 2.3 to Moodle 2.5! The changes have been relatively small, but here are a few of the things you can expect in the latest version of Moodle at K:

Collapsed Field Settings: This means that all of the settings that you used to have to scroll past (when creating an assignment or other activity in Moodle) are now collapsed under categorized headings. You can still do all the same stuff by clicking a heading to expand it, and then interacting with the options that appear.

Drag-and-Drop Media & Text: With our last upgrade came the ability to upload PDFs and other files directly to your course page, simply by dragging the item from your computer to the Moodle course page. In this latest version, you can also drag-and-drop images or text that you wish to appear directly on your course page. When you drag-and-drop text, it will appear as a label. When you drag-and-drop an image, you will get the option of displaying it directly on your course page or uploading it as a resource for your students to download.

Inline Folder Display: Do you use folders on your course page? How about folders within folders? 2.5 allows you to display the contents of your folders (including other nested folders) directly on your course page.
