SPAN-201-03's Course Objectives:

• Understand and produce (spoken and written) complex sentences, questions, descriptions, dialogues, and narratives about the present, the past, and the future.
• Understand and produce the subjunctive mood in order to express emotions, influence, opinions, and distinguish between what’s fact vs. what’s uncertain or possible.
• Become more aware of the specifics of Spanish language syntax.
• Develop cultural self-awareness and global competence, important for travel, career, and carrying out interpersonal relationships in an ever-changing and shrinking world.
• Become acquainted with authentic cultural production such as poems, songs, advertisements, film, and short narratives.
• Improve language skills through creative collaboration, discipline, and time
management.
