This course offers an in-depth exploration of adolescent development from a social work perspective. It aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social changes that occur during adolescence. Emphasis is placed on how these developmental stages influence behavior and well-being, and how adolescents can be effectively supported through these transitions. We will critique, analyze, and re-evaluate these notions as you construct your own meanings and interpretations.
