This introductory discussion-based course examines major issues in community, public, and global health. Using public health and health equity frameworks, students will explore how social, economic, environmental, and political factors influence health outcomes. Through readings, discussions, applied projects, and written assignments, students will develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration, research, advocacy, and professional communication.
